The Story of Ranunculus

In 2018 we photographed an Orange Ranunculi. Most flowers were still in knob with stalks as green as a frog. Not crazy if you know that the name “Ranunculus” is derived from the Latin word for frog “Rana”.
No flower has a more important role in the oeuvre of Chinnoe & Vlemmix.

Cinderella is the second work in the collection “Story of Ranunculus” made completely out of Ranunculi.
In 2018 the first design of “the dress” was created. Now 4 years later, the Ranunculus multiplied and minutely put into composition branch by branch she’s ready to show herself to the world.
